Froth your milk using a frother or steam wand until it reaches your desired consistency.
Pour the frothed milk into your drink, leaving some foam on top.
Take a metal spatula and hold it at a slight angle.
Gently glide the spatula over the top of the froth, starting from one side and moving to the other, to level the surface, repeat this process until you achieve a smooth, even layer of froth across the top of your drink.
